Sold! I have flirted and had one night stands with PS whilst having semi-serious friends with benefits relationship with LR but now I am throwing all my inhibitions out the window and going all in RAW!! …It's time for a virtual ménage à trois editing orgy! All joking aside this is going to be the push I needed to use all of the tools ive been paying for and to scared/lazy to use, Cheers Lads!

Whilst I admire your presence on camera and popularity on YouTube I think your shitting on your subscribers selling them someone else’s skills obviously benefiting somehow for something that is openly free all over YouTube my 2bobs worth or as you’d say 2 cents worth… I watch your channel because you are a likeable guy but fks sake don’t take the piss out of some of your gullible subscribers

I can see myself spending like 5 hours on each image. I have to work harder at getting it right in camera. This could get too addictive.

Jared, you wish you were good at this stuff, I AM good at this stuff. I WISH I was good at photography, YOU are AMAZING at photography. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. It's all a matter of practice and investing time in developing our skills. Peace.

Very helpful information. I'm a beginner photographer and I'm anxious to learn more. I'm going to invest my money on this. Btw "Fro," don't waste your time replying to the haters.

Ok I knew about most of these things but let me tell you, this guy explains them in the best way possible and is a natural teacher.
Based on this and the price (especially with the discount) the full course is totally worth it!

It's a no brainer. I had no experience in Photoshop (but a lot in Lightroon <starting in beta 1>) and knew from experience that LR couldn't do certain things perfectly or really well. So, I bought the Photoshop System from Matt, based on my opinion that he explains things well from other venues that I watched him in.

I started by looking at the tables of contents. Then, I watched every video, without taking notes or trying anything, to get an exposure. Then, I started back in earnest with a notebook and doing the tasks as Matt explained them. I appreciated the opportunity to stop the video and try more than once, then go back and watch and stop at every detail to try and take notes. You CANNOT DO THIS AT A SEMINAR.

Talking about real world, I had to stop studying a few months ago due to busyness in other areas and my annual 3 month photo expedition in FL, where I am now. I finished my trip and am now visiting with my #1 son in Tampa for about a month and have sat back down and started the course over again (I always repeat when I am away from something). I really appreciate the intro and the basics. I am now in the Layers chapter.

For Jared: there is more than one table of contents and one of them has a link to every 'chapter/section', that takes you directly in, if you want to pick and choose or review a particular item. The Cheat-Sheet and scroll down.

It's a really good way to learn much of what you will need to know to edit your pictures in real time and in the real world.
I started back mainly because I have exactly 8,506 images (after 1-3 passes of weeding in some of the location) and wished I had been up and operating in PS before I started the trip. I would certainly use LR for the quick editing and then PS for the manipulation of foregrounds and backgrounds, at a minimum.

    I like the course.

Great to see Matt K again – Looks like a good course, too. I’ve been using Photoshop forever, and have never taken a course, so I have all the bad habits, and don’t know many of the shortcuts.

While the quality of this video is VERY well done, its painful to watch. If your going to do the "home shopping network" style video with all the cheesy lines, at least admit thats your goal and run with it…..OWN IT lol that said, not a fan of this video tho.

Normally a fan but do not like you acting like a shopping channel presenter. It takes years to build up a positive reputation and only a few minutes to lose it. Please don't do this sort of thing again.

I naturally assumed you were totally familiar with Photoshop, I been using Photoshop for photography since 2000 then Bridge came along and then the original Raw, I find Bridge the Raw dialogue and Photoshop do it for me it's perfect, I 've never got into Lightroom.
