When outlining a pencil, wouldn't it be easier to just use the pen tool or lasso because of the straight lines of the pencil? With that said, this is a really great tutorial. I've been using Photoshop for 20 years and this is one of the best tutorials I've seen. Very well presented, easy to follow, and straight forward. Subscribed.

I don't have that option "select and mask", Only options that I have are Density and Feather…help 🙂
this won't work on low quality pictures and for older versions of photoshop it is called Refine Edge
