  1. Some nice tips but blender uv need some love from devs because it is lacking many cool features and the minute rizom get a solid bridge for blender 2.8 i will buy their tool that is simply amazing for fast UV work!

  2. Your English kicks ass my friend. English is my second language, I had the opportunity to learn by being immersed. I respect the fact that you are learning it through your own efforts, that seems much more challenging. You sound great, and seeking to improve yourself only makes me admire and respect you more.

  3. Hi, I can't find the Tag Seam option in Blender 2.8, I used it a lot with live unwrap in 2.79 because it helps me to create the seams faster, does someone knows where is this Tag Seam option in 2.8? 05:20 — Thanks!

  4. There are only-english speakers all over the place who say Wiking, Vater, Veather, Vaiting, Wersus, Wiolence, etc… lots of V's swapped with W's and not a single bi-lingual person among them. All pure english-only speakers.

  5. Not only is your english OK, but pleasant enough that thinking this video was targeted at someone more basic then me, I just let in run in the background… then you taught me a feature I would''a killed for earlier… always wanted a smooth for UVs like you can with mesh (like in the W menu) never used the UV sculpt before… now don't think I''ll be able to imagine not using it…. so, thank you very very much…..

  6. CYcles is just anoying in general with uv unwrapping. Blender internal was much better. Each material saved its uv map and also show directly in the viewport. CYcles needs to many steps. Also selecting faces doesnt show the uv map as blender intrnal does. I find the current 2.80 uv editor useless there for!

  7. On Tip #15, when i press T and go to tools, I only have the Transform submenu, i don't have the others UV Align and UV Tools, can someone help me find out why and how to enable? I tried checking the addons but all seems alright :/

  8. Let me tell you something about your English.. it's FINE. In fact, you are the first person I've heard who CORRECTLY pronounced "Smart UV Project". In every video I've seen – done by a native speaker of English – they pronounce it "PRO-ject" – as if it's a project they're working on. Listen up people, it's "pro -JECT" .. like a projection on a screen.

The vast majority of Americans can't even speak a second language, so screw 'em. (I'm an American – but I speak pretty decent German, plus some Spanish and French – so I have the right to say that). Ausgezeichnetes Video. Sehr hilfbar. Danke.

  9. There are only so few things I feel I am missing from Modo that by Blender 2.8 I will try to make the switch. So. Damn. Cool.
All those workflow tricks should really have their own Separate Appendix in the Blender Manual for each Category.
Manual > Modeling / UVMapping etc. > [reference manual categories] + Workflow Tips and tricks

I think a lot of these tricks are what many users are really missing out on before switching over to Blender. No matter if they switch completely or just as an additional software. Those quick tips are the shit for expereienced users. Persiod. 😀
