I was about to give up on giving my model hair. Thank you for this video you saved my project.
You gave an idea. 🙂
Plz I wanna learn I am beginner can't see that fast
Whats the name of this app
Ohh nice idea the texture reference!! Great video ^^
Sorry but this is not a tutorial… it is speed modeling. For tutorials you should make it real time
too fast, can you make it real time?
where is the image reference?
You just saved my college life m8. I was depressed because unable to make a decent anime hair for my model and bam you just made it easily like that. You have my gratitude. Never even crossed in my mind to make the back of hair like that.
Thank you so much for the video!! – I didn't have idea how to model anime hair in Maya ♥ you lit my brain! ahahaha 😀 Greetings from Chile ^^
I have no problem watching speed time laps tutorials, this video is very use full and a life saver cause right now I have a MMA project and the dead line is on Nov 4.I thought that I'm screwed up then this saved my life! And cure my friends autism + I enjoy listening the music "Study x Study" it's my favorite! XD
It's good but too fast and blurry, my eyes hurts DX
its like a speed modeling 🙁
Just want to say that god damn you kick ass.
I was wondering why the hair I was making looks like absolute garbage, but your hairline and quarter-sphere tips really made it look less terrible, if not decent.
a lot of tris….
Fantastic, this was an amazingly useful tutorial. I can model biological forms pretty well, but hair had me stumped. I figured I'd need to use planes, but for the life of me, I was having trouble envisioning how. Thank you so much for this tutorial, it all suddenly became clear to me. This is really going to help with making my virtual maquettes 🙂
great
Hello all I'm fine, doing a course in 3D modeling using 3DSMAX program, however wanted to start modeling hair, I found your tutorial browsing the internet, I wonder if it would have some tool to do what you did to make the start of the hair in 3d max , since it was well rounded and with few polygons, I thank you, excuse my bad English and lack of concordance.
What is that music?
whats anime is that on your desktop background?
This is figure modeling technique so it's expensive just like sculpting, but you still can use low poly and make normal map 🙂
Nice technique at 7:20. Would have never thought of that. It's at the cost of high poly though.
looks nice, not a tuto for begginers, still useful. I´ll subscribe.
thanks, it's a 3d render. 🙂
Amazing!
You're welcome
I've been in your shoes too 🙂
Cheers.
you are a god among men, thankyou for sharing with us your method… I was going insane trying to come up with a way to model hair…
ตรงจุดทำให้มันรวมกันกดอะไรงะ
You're welcome.
It's Maya 2009 and Adobe Illustrator/photoshop CS3 for the reference.
Omg!! really nice!! 😀 Great!! <3 Only one question! xD programs? Maya and? xD ^^ Thank You
can you make a tutorial to make the character? i wanna to learn…
Industrial rock…with art…cool. Nice job there mate.
Press 3 for the smooth preview – if this what you mean.
one question , how did you make the polygon edges having a smooth curve?
Cool Thanks.
BTW I like your avatar – I love Tomb Raider 😀
