    @DarkStarStudioss No reason why you cant. Just work hard and do a lot of it, and dont be afraid to show people and have them rip it apart, thats how you learn. Try and find an outlet for it too, its good to have a motivation for the content

    @trainsforyou There are many ways to skin a cat. The best answer to this, is just that there is somply more jobs using maya, as peoples current pipelines are built round it, and its too costly to change them. Its not that its better although I do prefer it for certain things….. Modelling and animation its very good

    @trainsforyou maya's just an option. its not necessarily better or worse than other programs such as 3ds Max, or lightwave. they all have their strenghts and weaknesses.

    @aliqas20 LOTS of learning by doing, and trying and getting it wrong, and trying again. It took a couple of weeks to make the robot monkey for example. I did it to get a job in the industry and I did get one, now been doing it for a few years, and loving it more each day.
