this is a 3d text effect tutorial in photoshop cs6 for beginners, i said it for beginners so dont complaint that its slow (if you know basics, skip the half of the tutorial, its ok)
and to follow it you at least need photoshop cs6 extended version
so i hope you like it and if you have any questions ask me in the comments ( and be polite, if you can )

you are a excellent……love it! thank you…
Is 3d on cs6? I dont see it
When you rendered the text, the cubes were 4×4 while mine are only 2×2..
How can you change it?
Hello dear using 3d tools my system goes crash, what should i
Hey man, create your own style, its so obvious you're out-rightly copying Unmesh Dinda from 'PiXimperfect' (but with a fake accent) When making a tutorial you need to explain each step, not just just run through randomly…
when you heard an Indian accent you know its 100% fucking real and cool
You are a EXCELLENT instructor!! There are so many tutorials on YouTube which really suck because they show speed art instead of taking the time to teach and verbally explain each step u take. Thanks so much for a job well done!!
"Tha extrusion is too dam thick" XD
this is not a tutorial for a beginner one you're moving too fast you're not explaining how to use the tools this is more for someone that is somewhat advanced
its not tule its tool u moron…stop fucking using artificial accent
:/ that very hard
can u make a video of signage design
Thanks, very helpful.
HOW DID YOU DO TOP VIEW?
Thank you so much for this and the detail about the tools. Most of the videos I have found up to now are too fast and don't even have voice over. You rock!
Very nice Dhruval, that was clear precise and very informatve
Great tutorial. learned a lot, thank you
Dat "Render" takes too long to render a image. so, be patient.
Well done tutorial Dhruval. Thanks for spending the time to illustrate that for us. Cheers.
new 3d exution from
nice and osam
Great. Thanks.
Here's something I wish more tutorials had: zoom in of the tools and having keys appear on screen.
Thank you.
vey nice
bro i want new digital original font style can u give me the link where it will be available please
Nice Video Dhruval. However – do you have any idea why most of the edges by extrusions may have jagged edges? My starting graphic is smooth.
dude I understand you have mastered photoshop, but shouldn't your video be a bit slower for newbies like me. Anyways on several attempts I couldn't do some of the basic things, then I decided to look for a different video which is slower. Sorry I think I am the only one who gave a comment like this. When it is a tutorial it applies to majority that they are newbies. Thanks anyways am gonna look out for different video. No offense intended.
Thanks, Dhruval. Another great vid.
I had to laugh at the beginning when you said about "having a decent system" and that really old PC popped up with the words "will not work" on it. Then, at about @2:08, the man comes up looking confused.
Then, "The first time you work with 3D, you might wanna break your computer"!!!! LOL! (I swear you know me!)
Good tutorial, although I did find it hardish sometimes. I'm not a photoshop newbie, but I've not used the 3D before, and I use photoshop CC, so the work space was different. But you explained most things very well.
Most of it, I was fine with. However, at @8:30, I didn't really get it. I couldn't change the lighting and edges, it just wouldn't change. I wanted a small border around the letters, like you did (but with a different colour). I input the colour I wanted, on front bevel, but nothing really happened, there was no border and no matter what I did with the sliders, it didn't change it. I changed opacity, in fact, I played with the sliders, but nothing changed. I tried using the front bevel, same as you, with the same settings, but it wouldn't work. At all. I did only have the 3D back part small-ish, but I can't think how that would influence the border of each letter, anyway.
One thing, I have a pretty good, fast laptop, but the rendering, once I done, took A LONG time!! When I say a long time, I mean more than an hour. I wish you'd said it would take this long (why does it?). I searched the internet, and this is quite normal, thankfully, but I would have liked it if you'd mentioned it. Plus, I couldn't minimise PS, which was annoying. 🙂
Edit: it actually took about 30 minutes, I think.
The effect I wanted was great. http://bit.ly/2bKxS2H
However, overall, this was a great tutorial, I just got stuck on that one bit. Thanks for a detailed explanation.
