43 – Connecting the global control and scale (Cartoon character rigging series)

We made the global control quite early but we haven’t done much with it yet so now its time to connect it up and check everything is working ok.

By using the character node everything should be in the correct place so that when we hook up the global control everything will work smoothly.

NOTE: The stretchy limbs wont work with the global scale just yet but we will hook that up in a later tutorial. If you can remember, in a earlier tutorial while making the stretchy arms we made a global scale multiply/divide node which is what we will use later to get the stretch working with the global scale.
