Sir please make one tutrial how TO do portrait art image via pen tool?
Your English is beautiful than Photoshop
Love and respect from Pakistan
It's getting to a point though, with the full capabilities and the fact that a full version of Affinity, available for iPad vs the version of Photoshop, that we are seeing where the student will soon be surpassing the teacher.
Good to see this take, people are too often biased by anti Adobe or anti subscription or non-pros complaining about cost. Use what you want, but "gets the job done" isn't a good mantra for professionals, we want the best tools for the job, that allow us to do what we need.
I used to be a Photoshop and Adobe die-hard, since the early 90's, but since the release of the Affinity products, I'm totally converted to Affinity (price tag alone makes it a no-brainer). If you get all three apps (Photo, Designer, and Publisher) you can also take advantage of their "Studio" workflow, which lets you work with Designer and Photo elements without having to open them, while you are working in Publisher. I find Affinity apps to have a much more intuitive workflow and for several tasks are noticeably faster than the Adobe counterparts.
A note on your reference to the icon differences — If you don't like the color icons you can switch to monochromatic ones in the preferences.
As an Affinity user I really like using it. The load times are better (IMO) and many of the things I use it for are a bit easier on Affinity. The glaring problem with Affinity for me has always been color selection. Making a selection by color is basically non existent in Affinity. The Affinity message boards have pointed this out but so far no serious update has been made. So whenever I do compositing, when selecting a subject, it has to be Photoshop because not being able to use color selection to isolate the subject is painstaking work.
Cool
And, please Umesh, tell Adobe, that they should set the Spacing in the Brush Settings panel not to 25% but to 1% – it is never wished by anyone to have a default brush that splatters.
Very detailed video
I'm pretty sure everybody would agree that we need more Affinity videos.
(I'm not even a user, but I'm impressed)
Amazing video….Please give us the retouch 4 me action that you created….
90% of PS gimmicks are never used by designers. Yes, when you retouch nonstop images PS has some advantages. I can leave totally without Adobe and their subscription rip-off.
affinity is combined of photoshop and Illustrator hahah
I am an Affinity package user and I love your tutorials that are almopst always compatible with the Affinity environment. What convinced me to leave Adobe was their subscription system. And after a few years I'm glad that I don't feel any need to go back to their applications anymore.
Man… You're amazing!
amazing
This is really good, I mean those all features it provides are nice. But the question is, can we really shift to affinity as a professional artist or a creator like you and me?
Wish is used Laptop sir please respond
Affinity deserves more love.
Photoshop can certainly learn a lot from Affinity Photo.. more than 7 things.
One of the best episodes so far!
Adobe and Affinity both need to pay you for all this work!
Awesome video, I would like to see more Affinity tutorials. These apps are amazing!!
