thanks, very helpful tutorial.
I wish the manipulator graphics didn't disappear when you are actually actively moving things.
Would be nice to have a measuring tool or protractor or something like that, I can't seem to find options for those (they are standard in most level editing packages I've used)
Makes aligning things by eye a pain in the neck
also, i have never been able to type on the keyboard without looking "no matter how hard i tried ๐
i bet youre probably one of those people who can huh? because im sure if you had to look down at the keyboard to find the correct keys everytime you had to perform a command that it would get a little frustrating. plus my memory really sucks.thats why i cant read novels, because the old info i just read dissapears as new comes in. some people are just better at some things than others.
i tried writting only the basic function down ans then tried to memorizing them little by little, but as i memorized new things id forget the previous things ๐ now i dont give up easy, but somethings are just too difficult for some people. also there are just too mant buttons to push to perform a single command. i found than blender is difficult especially when compared to silo or maya. .
i suck at using shortcut keys. im more of a point and click guy, so unfortunetly i cant use blender. ๐ i really wish i was good at using the keyboard because blender has everything you need to do just about anything you want in 3d. if my memory was good i could probably do it. im so envious of people will good memories.
I pressed something and any model I work with the manipulator no longer is in the center of my model, but is fixed at some random spot outside in open space. Now any scaling I do is focused on that stupid manipulator that gives me totally pointless results in the scaling due to the skewness. How can i make it so when i select my model the manipulator is always in the center of it and not floating around and being a pr*ck. Thank you.
Hello! Well I did learn a lot of things about Blender, but still don't know how or if it is even possible to create a sword 3D model from a picture. ๐ Because actually I wanted to create a mesh for a video game so I can put it in there and that way make all of a sudden my own mod, I am kindly requesting you to make a tutorial about it, if you can.
