I will be importing a basic 3d model from blender to Cities Skylines through the asset editor and see it ingame.

How did you get the texture with "front" and "top" on it?
Hello, its possible to import a 3D Scan model ( high poly ) ?
ok so i see the object on preview but i does not come when i start editing it?
This does not seem to work anymore. As soon as I try to load my fbx file as template, it only shows the default template and the continue button gets deactivated. Do you know anything about changes? Nice video and thank you btw 😉
that was awesome, thank you!
Thanks mate.
i did everything and it wont show up in game. not even in preview. can you be more detailed on explanation?
Thanks for this, I was having some real issues getting models from blender into the game but this worked really well. 100 seemed to be the scale number that worked for me rather than 800 or 8 though!
This helped.
Initially I could not see anything in Cities. When I tried it with 3DS, it worked straight away without having to do anything.
I would rather use Blender though. Got my cube working after this video.
Note, you don't need to have the textures and maps to see if your model imports into the game okay. I'd recommend doing that before spending time doing the unwrapping and texturing etc.
Yes, thank you. I am new to blender and, of course, to Cities:Skylines. I'm excited to create some models!
Hello this doesn't seem to work for me. I am able to see the model in the preview with my texture just fine, but as soon as I press "continue" it is invisible inside the editor, regardless of whether I choose prop, building, etc. Is there some special requirements for the material? I created a texture, default material, and unwrapped UVs and believe I followed all of your steps here for exporting.
thanks for making this.
