Amazing how you are able to make such good videos
awesome way of teaching
hi are you useing PHOTOSHOP 6.0 that came out bout 10-12 years ago ????
Hello Russell . . . I am RISH and I am a 67 year old fart that has been around computers since 1983 . . . and I STILL know so very little. But I just wanted to tell you that I've been looking for hours over a long period of time, and your instruction video, here, that I've just seen is probably the very best teaching methodology that I have ever seen. And I have three degrees and have been a teacher/counselor myself. You really have a gift for teaching and how to include all things step by step . . . nice and slow . . . with your resonant and pleasant voice to guide one along . . . very calming . . . very well done. BRAVO!! I'm looking forward to your other instructional videos. My wife and I teach ballroom dance, and I also try to take things slowly and deliberately . . . so that no one is lost. It's great to find your ways on here . . . good job.
Marching ants xD love it
Great video!! (I don't mean to spook ya but I noticed that you had a "Canucks" Cap on your head… I too am from BC – Love the old Vancouver Canucks logo!) Thanks for the video anyways… I found that my "hang up" with photography is of that – learning PS.. You make good sense of it! Thanks!
What Photoshop version are you using in this tutorial?
hi rahul hello
I really do appreciate how simply you explained. I am a true beginner to PS and don't have much high tech brain but I actually understood and I am not scare of using PS. Can't wait to learn more… great teacher indeed.
Great tutorial
snd part 2
hello, its great lessons. when i do canvas size , the extended part does not seem white.it seems transparent. why?how can i make make it completely white?
great tutorial.
recommended as the first video to watch by my high school IT teachers
which version is used…
Thanks for sharing! you explain everything very clearly
It's awesome tutorial but it just too quick for a pure beginner
Thank you! before I watched this I didnt know anything about Photoshop
Thank you so much Mr.Stasiuk for this video.
The way you explain the things is brilliant, and the way you speak is very clear, as English isn't my native language.
so I would like to say thank you again. 🙂
Can't thank you enough, Russell. After 2 days of going through tutorial videos, I was getting really discouraged. Yours is precisely what I was looking for. It's clear, concise, and perfect for beginners. With the aid of pause and replay, I was able to go over the bits I didn't get to begin with.
There are many photoshop tutorials on youtube .Usually I quit watching after 5 min. Some talk fast, others have annoying background music or they are too messy teachers which makes it hard to take in the information. Thank you for not being like them. I believe I will learn a lot from this one video 🙂
it is way too fast for beginners !
Thank you Russell for your video. I have to agree with Vincent, you ARE a good teacher. I was able to follow your actions and ( more importantly) I was able to understand what you were doing and why!
As an added bonus your three videos are free! I would have paid for instruction like this.
Thanks again.
David
Thank you so much for this video. Other videos took five minutes and longer to get to a point. And then still not clear. You managed to hit the nail on the head in 10 seconds. You are a good teacher.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your photoshop beginners techniques with student beginners such as myself. Your tuitorial is very easy to follow and helped me make sense of photoshop. Thanks so very much.
Thanks So Much!!
u have too many thanks alrdy. I'll just leav a like and a sub 😉
I would like to thank you so much. I think you have the most calming voice and really took the time to explain it in depth. I really need this. I watched 3 or 4 others and ended up clicking out of them because they were slow or advanced. This one was perfect I now have 10 pages of written notes for myself and you were perfect. Thank you so much.
thx for the help sir russell
GREAT! Thanks!
Thank you so much for your help.

very nice tutorial!
Thanks for the help!
This is great! You explain things and go through the steps succinctly. A lot to take in at once. I'll watch this again doing each step as I go.Key strokes, shortcuts as well. Thank you
