Ok I got this to work the reason its not working is this only apply if you have not already built a mysql database yet and there are steps missing if you have and it also depends on the software you use. For instance I already had a database built but I was using Mamp as my webserver I had to change the Apache 80, Nginx Port 80, MySQL Port 3306 once I changed that information and just had MySql running I was able to go to the localhost/phpmyadmin/index.php and login with my database credentials. I didn't need the config.inc_Mac.php file.
after changing the config.inc.php i get this error on the localhost page #2002 – No such file or directory The server is not responding (or the local server's socket is not correctly configured).
if u'r running on mountain lion, first u need to install VirtualHostX, this will allow to activate apache with php server, then u need to config to call phpmyadmin folder like on this video. thats all folks 😉

This needs to be updated.. It seems to have changed how you set this up. You don't get the same files that you do anymore.
