In this tutorial I use various examples of hard surface models to create different basic shapes with the correct edge flow. With the knowledge of how the objects are modeled with neat edge flow you can create most models.
I hope you enjoy the video! consider the information as you try to create more complex shapes that contain various smooth and hard edges. I show the edit mode of each object, try to copy the topology of those shapes! 🙂

this video is quite old and I do some things in questionable ways. I find giving tutorials while learning helps me learn, helps you learn and generally im putting more thought into what im doing so I talk about it. rather than the 1000th time I do something and i dont feel the need to say it.
Just to save some polys would Shift-E be a great substitute for those smooth corners?
