Hi, I solved the problem ‘Some products failed to install’ in this way.
I hope you solve the problem in this way or in a similar way.

I recommend you to remove all Autodesk software from your Windows system even after you have successfully installed the software like I did in the video and then install again from the beginning. So you can install the software without problem anymore because I tried to install more than one and I haven’t had a trouble.

Create a folder on desktop to back up
the ‘bin’ and ‘MRF’ folders like I will do.
You will cut and paste them into the created folder.

The files must be located at the following address:
C:AutodeskWIAutodesk Maya 2016x64MayaAutodesk
Maya2016

Please copy the folder Maya2016 that is located in this path
C:AutodeskWIAutodesk Maya 2016AD_FA30.tmpx64Maya
Autodesk
to the true path that is C:AutodeskWIAutodesk Maya 2016×64
MayaAutodesk

You will paste the backed-up files
‘binUPIupiconfig.xml’ and ‘MRFSetupSetupupiconfig.xml
to main folder Maya2016 that you copied.

  1. I found a much simpler problem for this matter. When installing just look at what the program wants to install, in your case it wanted to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 after the 2005 one SO just uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 and let the program do it

  2. My issue was actually occurring from using the web installer. I went back to the site and went to the Manage My Account tab and downloaded the actual 2.86GB file. That solved things for me. I had tried this solution first but it didn't work out. Thanks, though.
