can i use volley to get data from database mysql and not use Asynctask . ??????????????????

I already follow your toturial. But i got some error with the recycleview did not show items in the list. But the code is already fetch data from mysql.

for anyone who gets an error with their json because it "expects JSONArray but was given a JSON Object…the error lies within the settings of the database host itself. i switched over from a free databse host (hostinger) to amazon aws and was given a result exactly like the one shown in the video…therefore i could have probably -played around with the settings on the free web site but i chose to kill two birds with one stone and actualyl get started on aws free tier. good luck and keep on developing 😉
