Yes, we did this. So I have done a few bad makeup science experiments before with my own nude lipsticks, foundations, eyeshadows, liquid lipsticks, and highlighters, and I’ve also mixed together every lipstick from Sephora, but I wanted to think more dramatic this time, so I bought every online beauty guru’s eyeshadow palette that was currently available, and we mixed them together into one Frankenguru eyeshadow. What do you think it should be named?

Disclaimer: We only bought and mixed palettes that I could buy firsthand (still available from a credible retailer), so palettes that were released essentially from mid-2017 onwards. We also focused on gurus who post content primarily in English, just to keep it the experiment to one market.

    This was me every time you said dump for the rest of the video because I have the maturity of a six year old.

  26. Question: How did you scrape the exact same amount of each shadow? Only thing I can think of is having a scale and weighing each scraping, from each color.
    Unless you have a tiny tiny measuring spoon.
    Next time dont use your finger to Swatch the Shadow
    Use the q-tips or Shadow applicators
    It helps stop from spreading germs

  29. Fun fact: Red and purple eyeshadows are very difficult to formulate. Most reds and purples are actually classified as pressed pigments and are not technically FDA approved for use around the eye.

  47. Hmm, I wonder which palette most closely resembles the theoretical numbers you came up with… (totally understand why no one's done that math tho, that's a solid day of staring at makeup and a calculator)
