chingas a tu madre la neta me desespero tu pinche techo y al final lo borre para hacerlo con una simple placa y ajustar los vertices
Waoooo
damn i never went so much ahead in my life
good grief, the poly count is just.. waaaaaaayyyy to high
Go ahead xD
Thanks for your effort and for the clear explanation!
Fuck you guys! I would've never noticed him saying "Go ahead" so much if I didn't read it in the comments. Now I can't stop!!!
Thank you for this tutorial!
Go ahead and keep doing great tut ;)!!! Thx man
thnks sooo much bro
I've been following along with this tutorial so far and loving it 🙂 I'm studying a course in 3D modelling at the moment which has taught me a lot, but even just by watching these videos, I've picked up a few different little tips and tricks. Thank you for sharing!

I've worked a lot with 3ds Max, but needed to learn Maya for a new job. Your tutorials really helped me learned the new interface even if I didn't need the modeling knowledge. Very well done!
Oh and when you play around with the thickness of the extrude, when it jumps to fast. I find it easier just to hold CTRL down.
these tuts would be lynda.com quality, if only you didnt say "go ahead" so much. seriously. its annoying.
Great videos. Finally I have found a decent tutorial on Maya for starters. It is much harder to use than SolidWorks.
i extrude the roof of the house, still turn on "keep faces together" command, but when i adjust thickness of the whole face, extracted faces are extracted separately. i don't know why?
how did you unsmooth it?
Hello! I have two questions
first: When i rotate the house walls details they appear in black like if they were upside down, why is that happening?
second: When i extrude and give offset to the roof surface the object becomes transparent like if it where in the wireframe mode, but i cant turn it down.
Thanks and good job keep it up!
I'm getting there. My roof doesn't look as good as yours, due to some technical difficultes, however, it looks just as good.
y dont you use freeze transmogifigation option when "house in not at the center"?
thanks for tutorial!
GO AHEAD
How do you unsmooth mesh?
I love the tutorial but I spent nearly 3 hours trying to work out why adding edge loops after extruding the roof wouldn't work. Please could you put in the description the solution to this which is to select the mesh tool, merge vertex and drag the unwanted vertices to ones that you want to keep. I almost abandoned this which would have been a shame as I've learned so much from these tutorials. I'm using Maya 2014 and I believe others using 2015 have had the same problem.
do you get paid for every time you say "go ahead"?
what do you press after "3" to cancel it? it seems to get stuck irreversible (not responding to ctrl+z) when i do it :/
hihi..lets go ahead 🙂
Ok so am on Maya 2015. When I extrude the roof, checked normals everything is ok. Exactly to the model. I run the edge loop to support the edges and it doesn't go all the way around the model. Its like its broken edged. I don't understand when the extrude and all faces are correct. Maya is a pain in the arse baby to modelling compared to 3ds max, they need to develop this area,…….
Quick tip guys, instead of inserting edge loops, you can BEVEL the object in edit mesh . Change the fraction and segments as desired for smoothness.
One question: when I press 2 to see the SMOOTH preview, io cannto get rid of the Wireframe, so I really cannot see the object smooth. Any hotkey that Im missing to press to HIDE THE WIREFRAME? THANKS!!!! 😀
