Tutorial – Modeling a Cartoon Cat character in Autodesk Maya – Part 1
In this tutorial series Misterh3D will model a cartoon cat from a polygon primitive. The key to modeling characters is getting the basic shapes first with the correct edge loop flow and then adding detail later. This tutorial will demonstrate a simple straight forward approach to modeling that can be applied to any character.
This is an intermediate tutorial and is not intended for those who are brand new to Autodesk Maya.

I don't have a middle button in mac, how else can I drag the lambert….not that you answer any of the comments 😀
