If you're using the p5 web editor for this you'll have to find a secure HTTP (HTTPS) source, there's a site you can google (wheretheiss.at) for this.

Great video !! For those people who is look at the video and trying to use iss api locator. try this url instead "https://api.wheretheiss.at/v1/satellites/25544" looks like p5js forces "https" and doesnot take "http" for security thingy.

I have one question about this one – what is the role of the 'data ' argument in the function gotData(data)?
I mean, I understand what it's doing there (I.e. receiving the URL info), but why it's doing that, or where that argument actually gets used, just doesn't seem intuitive to me. The data argument isn't used anywhere else in the code. I watched earlier videos on arguments / parameters but still can't make sense of this one.
Maybe I'm overthinking. any tips grately appreciated 🙂
