  1. ► NOT WORKING? If Generative Fill is grayed out or you cannot see this feature, try the following:
    – Don’t see Generative Fill in Photoshop Beta? In Photoshop Beta, go to Help > System Info, and verify that you see on the first line, 24.6.0. 20230520.m.2181. If not, please go to your Creative Cloud Desktop app, choose Help > Check for Updates, and install the latest version.
    – Generative Fill grayed out? Please ensure you have an active selection to fill an area, then check if you can apply Generative Fill.
    – Try restarting your computer after installing the latest version of Photoshop Beta.

AI has problems with generating hands (a good amount of videos on Youtube talked about it, Vox made a great video about the reasons Midjourney could not do hands) but it seems the newest version of Midjourney (5.1) fixes the problem. Im assuming Photoshop is based on the old version and hoping the final relelase we wont see the problems with the hands with the Generative Fill. Thanks for the video. I referenced your video to a few friends who talk all things AI but they did a video of the new feature of Photoshop. Your examples are more realistic to what a designer would do. Thank you

  18. I used this after work today. I have to say the results were actually very good. Now if you type in like eagle flying you're going to get cartoons and stuff like that. But I took some beautiful great blue heron, green heron, and egrets shots the other day when I was in South Carolina. One of the egrets was standing and these beautiful bushes. I typed dog and it actually hid the dog in the bush so it looked like part of the picture. I typed in snake and got pretty similar results some of them were a little sketchy but for the most part they were pretty decent and the lighting was always pretty much spot-on

  23. Well done video. I tried the Generate Fill and was amazed. Though when I tried to Generate Fill my ex out of a photo, it just replaced her with another person. Even though I put remove in the notes box. What else could I try for the Generate box?
