  1. Great tutorial, thanks! but I thought there was like a shortcut key where you could automatically fill in the Bezier curve with a mesh, but maybe it was a different curve. But it was really easy to follow, but im not sure about "absolute beginners." Absolute beginners are ones who dont even know the basics of blender, the axes, the shortcuts, the menus, the selection things, that type of stuff. Maybe just "beginners" or none would be a better title. But it was an amazing tutorial for me. Considering ive been using Blender for a few months now. Thanks for the advice

  2. for someone who titles vids for absolute beginner , you  suck add aray modifier where is it how do you  get to it, cap end i found it but no thanks to you , and you  didnt tell people what to  do when they find it cap end people  check the word nothing.

  3. Thanks. I bump up a problem though. Whenever i add the curve modifier, it just doesnt bend right. I see how you move the cylinder on the bezier and it moves nicely with the shape, but my cylinder turns 90 degrees on its side so it doesnt bend correctly on the bezier. Why?

  4. Thanks for the tutorial, A1Sirius, and sincere and serious thanks to the developers, who volunteered their time to make the software. With that said, the way splines are created in Blender is yet another example of how the program sometimes seems to almost purposely go out of its way to be as counter-intuitive as possible. What were they thinking?! Have mercy!

  5. Great.  I've used Maya a lot, and I'm watching Youtube vids to see if Blender will be better for Unity.  Making curvable pipes was one of my criteria for deciding, and it's nice to see how easy it will be.  🙂

  6. This doesn't seem to work for me- after adding the Array modifier, I change the "Fit type" from Fixed Count to Fit Curve and the extra piece just disappears and I can't find it after. Followed the steps to the letter, I don't think I left anything out, as far as I can tell.

  7. Thanks for your time making the tutorial, really simply explained.  My problem is after making the curve I can't seem to attach it to the mesh, also.  I tried J to join, didn't work.   I made a strap for a Sandal, can't get the strap to join with the mesh base.  What am I doing wrong?  I did not using an array modifier.

  8. Hi, awesome tutorial! Quick question, when you start extruding your curve @ 5:03, your cylinder mesh seems to be extruded with it. When I do this, the curve is extruded, and then I have to manually increase the array quantity of my cylinder. Is there anyway to make it so that the cylinder I guess snaps to the extruding of the curve? I've watched it over and over and can't seem to find what I am missing 😛 thanks for the video!

  9. Noob question. How can I bend a square tube and yet keep the volume consistent? I am using a subdivided cube extruded to a long tube, then I make a Bezier curve and apply the curve modifier to my tube (cause she said to). It warps it fine, but it fattens toward the end of my radial. Question. How can Blender "sand pack" it so it keeps shape?
