This is an introductory video into the world of CONSTRAINTS. These constraints are fundamental in the development of rigging, no matter what the project. They’re used in characters, vehicles, and anything you can imagine.

Technical Directors (TDs) are in high demand due to the logical process of deduction and reasoning to make meshes be able to be animated and to make the overall workflow much easier for animators in general. These individuals are key in being able to bring something to life. An animator can keyframe the controls, but the TDs must make those controls.

TDs are not for everyone, they require technical skills as well as an artistic skill to make the mesh deform correctly. Although it’s not needed, It is highly recommended that if you venture into this field, to acquire skills from a credited institution as they will be extremely helpful in the future.
