W- move
E- rotate
R- scale
G- repeat last command
q – exit tool
b- soft selection
shift + . – grow selection
alt + b – change background color
f – fit to selection
ctrl + a – open attribute editor/channel box
ctrl + delete – deletes an edge loop( 2014 version and up only)
1 – standard mode
2- subdivision mode with cage
3- subdivision mode
4- wireframe
5 – shaded mode
6- texture mode

  1. So zbrush was open source back in the day and now it's an $8,000 program. It seems to only want a select few people to be able to progress within a certain realm of the art industry. Just saying this cuz I would love to be able to use zbrush and there's no other programs that even come close 2 what zbrush can do.

  2. I am curious about license. I wanna make my own stuff with maya, substance paint, zbrush. And these days i making these. But i dont have a lot of money for buy these programs. So, i wanna use education versions and wanna upload on youtube to make money from views. How u make this video and what kind of license you use?

  4. Didnt realize zbrush is part of autodesk maya 2018. basicly you made lores geo and upres and sulpt in zbrush. title is misleading. start to finish is not maya 100%. cheers model looks great. maya does have its sculpt tools btw. lets see this done in maya only.

    I was just wondering if in order to animate your character at the end you had to merge/combine all of the different pieces of cloth and armour in one single mesh or there’s a trick to that?

    请问你是从MAYA里面建模完成后就直接导入Zbrush里面雕刻完了再分UV的吗?如果是,有什么好建议吗?
    我每次雕刻完因为每个模型零件的细分等级都不一样,想合并为一个整体再导出去分UV。但电脑卡到我快要哭了,等待过程十分痛苦。
    我有想过在MAYA导出的简模先分UV然后再导入Zbrush细分进行雕刻,但这样又会导致UV变形。
    你能详细跟我讲讲你的方法吗?思路是如何顺利完成的?

  7. At this point I'm beyond lost, my lecturer says to 100% avoid 3 sided polygons and Mudbox does not facilitate them, if you want to increase your poly count. Does it make any difference in software like Substance painter or when is it alright to use them?
