16:21 I dont have that function. how do I get that?
i search a lot for this tutorial and this is the best greeting from egypt ๐
Great tutorial and everything turned out like yours in Substance. I do have a question though… When you import the textures into Maya, do you apply them to the low poly or high poly model?
how do i select the individual shapes in UV mode? when i open edge mode i cant just select that rectangle shape. the whole thing gets selected
I cant use any Alphas ( I am your patreon). Any advice please? Google doesnt help. Thx
I copy haha
When I double click in edge mode, the edges don't delete like in this tutorial. Any idea why?
How does he get the side things to have a rounded edge? mine just puts moves it outwards, not rounding
most annoying background music in the history of youtube videos lol
Sir, if we had a detailed tutorial on how to apply this barrel to Maya, we would be able to use it in games, it would have been very good for me.
Great Tutorial like always. Did you noticed that at the top of the barrel where the cap touches it there is a strange shadow? Would it be a problem in the normal map baking or something else?
Thats the way that we want you to do the tutorial slow and with a good explication not speed modeling please I get RED when you do speed modeling ๐๐
So many guys everywhere.
This is an excellent beginner tutorial for both Maya and Substance Painter, and it's such a widely used game prop that every modeler should have a few really good ones in their portfolio.
Man! just awesome, thanks for sharing, this was beautiful. Question, Pixar models their models using Sub D modeling technique. They seem to start with a simple low poly base in subd then finesse the model. Are you aware of this style? would you be able to demonstrate or model a simple model explaining? Thanks.
Does Substance painter need UV cut in maya?
thank you
Great video, please do more stuff like this!
why dont import the high res mesh in the first place?
Very nice.!!! man, now we need export to maya and setup to Arnold render ๐
cool
I joined the patreon movement cause your tutorials rock and I hope to see more videos like this. I love to see more videos with Maya (lt) 2018, zbrush, substance painter complete workflow. Preferably stylized assets that are ready for use in game engines like unreal/unity. Cheers!

This was insanely useful for substance. It would be useful to see you do more substance painter tutorials with some of your stylised models.
Very good ๐
Love the tutorial ๐ I remember seeing you model an oil barrel 5 years ago ๐
