What’s up people?!!!, this is my first ever Autodesk Maya tutorial. today we will take a look at the basic set up of creating an shatter effect with Autodesk maya ncloth. And what about the particles? they are in the air .. how to get them down?
It doesn 't work at all and i did all the steps . Nothing happens when the ball goes through my plane
I think you need to knock up the "glue" setting to make sure it doesn't move before the ball hits.
When I try to make my ball move through an object after making it an ncloth it just drops down, do you have any idea why?
Little question.I made a wall shooted by bullets,but the wall starts to wall at the first impact.If i erase the gravity,the particles…well,it havnt gravity too lol
How can I prevent the wall from falling to infinity? i made a floor,passive collider and Ground Plane but that not works.

i applied this method to my project and it works well thanks but the thing is i had applied uv's to the object which disappeared as soon as i created ncloth …so can i apply textures to it and the collider object and make the ncloth destruction happen?
I can't find the Cut command in Maya 2016 Ext 2.

This is an old method, Its better to use Dynamics..
mine is like a cloth so when my objects hits it everything is still together. i detached all the edges but nothing yet. i m using maya 2016

I want to make the "destruction" start when the ball hits the stage, not before. Is there a way to do that? Keyframe it, maybe? In addition, I would like to know if there is a way to stop the destruction right after the ball passes through the stage. I would really appreciate your help.
