It's woody harrelson
hey awesome as heck im pretty proud of what ive accomplished so far. Ive only had this program for 5 months and ive come a long way, thanks and please keep them videos coming
A nice way to start, but are you sure smoothing it is a good idea?
yea it's nice but it's hard to see what you doing because the video quality it's low ๐
If you like 3d modeling and need a good place to start, this video will help.
NICE THANK YOU HOPE YOU KEEP MAKING EASY VIDEOS ๐
Yeah, maya does that ๐ I think it's duplicate special.
Make sure you used the scale tool and not the move tool ๐
/watch?v=oXI2gIgjffI this video helps getting started
This is great David, it really allowed me to familiarize myself with a few tools I haven't used before.
Hi, I think I'm missing something because after I've switched to face mode and try to move at 1:58 red and black lines appear on the rest of the box, and the entire object movies with it. Is there a way I can fix that?
Thanks Sleyn89. I have learned much since this tutorial. Sorry Edward, you had to suffer through my learning curve.
wtf ?
please, use snapping:
'x' = snap to grid
'v' = snap to vertices
You can also select 2 faces at once and do the exact same extrude on them by selecting one face and selecting another one with shift+click.
Also, you have some really bad geometry in there. for example the main wings have a face there that is invisible. because they were created when using the extrude.
People please know that this tutorial has got some really nasty habits in there.
Sorry, man, just trying to help ๐
THANK YA!
Actually, it's easy to add a mirror without any work. A 7-year-old making a Maya spaceship tutorial taught me… >_<
Select BOTH sides, not one then the other. Then it mirrors along the axis between the two. But, sometimes, it's not exact. You'll see if you try.
It does support mirroring, should have probably used it. Thanks.
Does Maya support mirroring along an axis? Because that makes it much easier: You make only one half of the model and then mirror it.I know that Blender supports it.
Thank you so much! This will help me a lot with my modelling! ๐
awesome ๐ thanks man, real good tutorial
