  1. Thank you so much ! I am studying Game Art atm. and i had to to a test about Basic Rigging , so we got a few Exercises for the Topic. Only Problem is that they only show you each part of rigging separately, so if you don't get the Basics of Rigging , you won't be able to do these Exercises xD I guess you saved my Grade with that Video. Thank you so much !

  2. I saw you had a problem with the back legs where the bone effected the other back leg, could you make a tutorial on how to fix that because I have allot more bones and all my fingers are moving weird.
    Thanks for this tutorial.

  3. hi can you make a tutorial on how to make a model like a cat or snail or stuff I find it really hard to do but fact is I want you cause I understand how you teach ๐Ÿ™‚ thankyou for the vid. btw

  4. Cool video, I use (Because the assets I am working with are from 1996-1998) Alias Studio Tools. Its damn pain in the ass convoluted program. Really looking forward to learning MAYA and Z-BRUSH as my main 3D sculpting and Animation workflow for video game development. Never really looked into MAYA, but many people tell me it is much better to work with then 3DS MAX. Worked with 3DS MAX a little over the years AND I HATE IT!! SOOO CONVOLUTED!! SOO MANY BUTTONS AND MENUS! NOT INTUITIVE!

  5. URGH THIS IS NOT A HELPFUL VIDEO AT ALL I HATE THESE YOUTUBE VIDEOS, WHY DO THEY NEVER EXPLAIN CLEARER, THIS RIGGING IS ANNOYING ME SO MUCH CAUSE MY POINTS WONT CREATE INSIDE MY CHARACTER AND WHEN I DRAG THEM TO IT THEY WONT LET ME ADD ANY MORE POINTS.

  6. OMG thank God I saw this video…you saved me so much time…thank you soooo much… xDD

Oh and is the ik handle thing the way you rig the spine too? xD I'm trying to make a dog rig that will run in a 2 minute clip, so I think I might need that >.<

  7. There are several ways to do that, but the most effective way of getting a rig which reacts the way you want it to is the use the Paint Weights tool, which will allow you to change which parts stretch and to what degree. It's relatively simple to get parts of the mesh to act as a unit this way rather than stretching. ๐Ÿ˜€

  8. Holding "X" will make your move tool snap to the grid as you drag something.
Holding "V" will snap to close vertices.

Toggling "insert" will let you move your pivot point about your object, without moving the object. Or you can just center it within your object by going to Modify > Center Pivot.
