Beginner Photography TUTORIAL | Avoid AUTO at ALL COSTS

Welcome to my Beginner Photography Tutorial! In this video I share the basics of photography such as explain what shutter speed, aperture, and ISO mean. I share what they do, and why you should choose shutter speed, aperture, or iso over the others. I also share my reasoning for why I think you should avoid auto at all costs. And that is mainly because the camera can often incorrectly choose shutter speed, aperture, or iso settings that can ruin the type of photo you are going for. Hope this helps out a bunch of you who may be getting into photography for the first time, or for those of you who are curious as to why I say you should avoid auto at all costs!

  1. After 2 years of making videos I finally understand how the 3 work together! Keep it up man I will see if you have a vid for white balance.

Btw if I can get to 40k w/o knowing this stuff, you're gonna kill it on YT. For reals

  2. This is a first-rate tutorial — absolutely great. I can confidently say that I don't need to go anywhere else to learn the basics… it's all right here… and very thoughtfully presented. Connor owns this town. 🙂
