the shading tool was not working for me
For everybody that the Burn Tool doesn't do anything, try unchecking the option "protect tones" on the properties bar.

When I add a new layer it no longer paints on just the circle 🙁 Why?

All my settings are the same, yes I'm not a cheeky scrub I have it in RGB mode
Burn tool does nothing. wtf. This happens a lot, took me an hour to get my paint tool to paint. Never had any problems with ms paint tho.
The irony is killing me.
Shading? This is a 'how to make a sphere' tutorial lol. Show me how to shade something more complex like a gun or a sword and we'll talk.

really appreciate this as I am just learning PS. How about cast shadows on spheres,cubes,cones and cylinders? Also bending colours, tones etc then applying these to a simple car?
