dont use edge split.. it increases your polycount a lot !! use “auto smooth” under the “object data” tab

    I learned many shortcuts here they are :

    EXTRUDE : e
    TOGGLE EDIT/OBJECT MODE : TAB
    TRANSFORM TAB : n
    SWITCHING TO WIREFRAME MODE : z
    ORTHOGRAPHIC MODE : numpad 5 (and then press num 7/9/1/3)
    MAKING LOOP SELECTION : b
    INVERT SELECTION : ctrl+i
    FILLING PORTION : f (after selecting edges/vertices)

    Im learning the Blender gui from scratch and need to know what keyboard shortcuts that are needed and how to use them. This gives me all of that and more. Thank you!
