It can be a bit tricky to create nice geometry/topology for walls when your modeling a house in Blender. This video tutorial shows you the best way we have found to easily cut windows while keeping face loops flowing in a nice way.

I made it too very easy. just used WoodPrix plans and instructions.
What confuses me is the UV mapping, the map is a cimplete mess with parts overlapping, and since my map is so big it would take AGES to move every single part… D:
I'm being taught to do stuff by a female robot instead of a human with good tutorial skills….HALPPPPP!
or you could use the solidify modifier….
Slow down is right. the info is awesome, but for us noobs, the fact you are way zoomed in on the video means, the keys or menu buttons used are out of frame. Trying to find out where in blender these tools are is damn near impossible.
love these tutorials
may you could work on the voice but overall excellent
the sound for cortana
dammit slow down, what are you pressing to extrude the corner walls
TO THE WINDOW! TO THE WALL!
You can try to use bisect tool instead of cut loop, its working without any tricks, only one thing you will need to do is to snap new vertices to grid.
awesome. + one subscrite!!! thanks
Incredibly useful. Thanks.
What is with the robot voice? I just looked through comments and I don't see anyone saying anything about the voice. I came here to make glass windows, but when I heard this "robot voice" I was hooked because I NEVER have really heard a voice like this on a YouTube video! This surprised me LOL XD! I'm like "HEY! This sounds like my Samsung when it talks to me!" Except the voice in THIS video is sharper and more "robot-like" than my samesung, which has a smooth voice. Probably sense my Samsung is newer than this video.
holy shaticans dude are you on crack lol this tutorial is nuts
Thanks helps alot
how did you cut like that? without doing it line by line?
I really hate these tutorials. They always assume that you know how to use each tool, and the fact is, Blender tools are not exactly intuitive. I am just starting out, and he says, using edit mode, without explaining how to get to edit mode. Making walls is about as basic as you can get in making a 3d object, so it would be nice to know every single freakin key command to do each step. Here's a thought. When making these videos, make two. One like this that is short and to the point for those that know the tools and one that explains each key command. Or, make a hybrid where hen you say, using edit mode, a quick splash screen tells the key commands, but it only lasts a few seconds. If you need to see it, you pause the video, if not you don't pause.
Good tips
I like the voice 🙂 How is it generated?
At 01:45, Infact, I think you can directly bridge those faces without delete first, even in 2.8. Nice video. btw,
