In this tutorial I will be taking you through modelling a simple barrel and amateur texturing in blender 2.67. This tutorial especially targets the beginner and is a good reference point for modelling in blender

Nice: great tutorial, and a video-game quality model in 30 minutes! Just one thing: how did you get the model to mirror itself?

Could you maybe do a tutorial where you actually import this into a game engine (unity/unreal engine)?

Thanks for the tutorial; Jesus Christ Bless you! 🙂
at the minute 9:48, you can just press F to fill without having to delete the faces first (at least in version 2.70 works that way)
Really nice tutorial, thank you for sharing!
Great tutorial just beginning to use blender and this has helped a lot and it's good you are moving it along at a fast pace, the amount of I had to rewind to just to find out what you were talking about and the shortcuts you used, but that has helped with actually learning the shortcuts and drilling it in to my head. Thanks for creating this tutorial.
No problem, :). Thanks a lot. I'll be adding the links in the descriptions. I will post several tutorials next week hopefully.
Thanks. Feel free to request any tutorial you may want made
You can get them at cgtextures[dot]com . I'm setting up a site where I will be posting the resources for tutorials. As well as the tutorials themselves.
Sorry for delays, been busy, yes I can. I will make one on a simple gun this week if I have time , I will make one on a simple gun (to save on tutorial time doing repetitive tasks) with key concepts then you can transfer that knowledge to your project.
Sweet! I was really having a hard time learning Blender, but wanted to 3D model for the longest time. This paired with my photoshop skills for texturing will let me rule the world! Muahahahaha! Not really, but I can do this now! Thanks!
can u do a tutorial on how to model a gun?
