In this tutorial I go over some of the basic elements of using Blender, particularly different ways to set-up materials and textures in Blender Internal and Cycles render engines. I also introduce a few tips and tricks along the way for more advanced users.

  1. I've done the same way as you did to create an own noise for each frame with #frame, but my Seed stays 0 even when i move the keyframe in the timeline. Is it a problem already known and how can i resolve it?
    I use Blender 2.73a if it's a necessary fact.

  2. Hi! i am interested how can i bild a mesh with blender and study in physics by meeting an object on there way by dropping or launching? i would be greatful for a litle inspiration.Doing a good job! Thanks

  3. This is great. A little tougher to follow along with than part 1. Lights and materials interact with each other in such a way that you can't really experience one without the other, but covering them both simultaneously wouldn't be practical, so the way it is presented here is as well as I can imagine it could be done. Thanks again! These tutorials are gold.

  4. I loveee your tutorial man they are very helpful cannot wait for part 3. This is perfect as I get to know more about Blender and the difference types of rendering. On any of your future video I hope you make a node editor tutorial and how to use external render. Thanks so so so much and looking forward for more.
