Really useful, although a bit shoddily presented.

How does the Lock system works in the Sculpting Mode?
Thank you!
Piotr, your tutorials are terrific. Thank you so much. Here is my version of Snowy Road:

I found it challenging but really fun. Hope you like my elaborate snow material 🙂 I thought the "shrinkwrap" method of making a road cut/bank is incredibly clever, I would not have thought of it and the result is very convincing.
The one thing I still do not understand is why the array element (road surface section) that I built had to be rotated 90 in Y before applying the curve mod! when I applied the curve the first time, the "road" was vertical in cross section (i.e. looked like a fence or wall, not a road). When I undid everything and rotated the original road section 90 in Y, the road was a flat ribbon as it should be. In other words it seemed like the NURBS path introduced a 90 deg rotation, even though I had the origins co-located and drew my NURBS path from above (top ortho). I can live with this, but I wish I understood why it does that.

answers my question, I hope it unconfuses others as well.
YOUR TO QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>:-(
Nice. A little explanation would be nice, but I've read where time is an issue. I'll just watch it a couple of times. Very informative so I don't mine. 8)
>>>PLEASE READ FOR HELP<<<
Some people (like pureaxle69) have experienced a deformation of the curve modifer
For example: http://prnt.sc/clplxq
Read this forum post to solve the issue: http://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/8235/why-is-the-curve-modifier-deforming-strangely
thank u
it was useful tutorial ^^
Fascinating approach to achieve the desired result! Love it! Never thought of it this way!
Hey how come i set the path to the curve i. it desont even fit on my curve, its like my pth has had a siszure
Best in the shelf. Inspired.
I cannot apply array flow by a curve 6:04. It's result a straight line, not flow by nurbscurve. I dont know why, pls help
How did you achieve the camera fly along the road animation in the beginning of the tutorial?
I can make the camera follow the curve but it's only the position of the camerathat's following. I guess what I need is that the camera look at point is following the curve? How did you do it?
Great tutorial, it is one of the best I have found, but the lack of sound and your fast moves makes dificult to catch the whole thing… I need to wacth it twice to understand, and still have doubts.
5:37 Why did you apply the scale before go for array modifier? 6:33 why did you go to other layer before go for sinkwarp?
Very good tutorial! Thank you!
no sound.. shit tutorial
+BlenderShortTests How do i slow the speed down?
I can't hear any sounds. Is there any sounds?
Can I create a corner so I add the length (or the radius) of the corner and the degree of the corner?
Love this tutorial but all the track is the same , is there a way to add cracks, dirt, leaves, water reflections in diferents parts of the track?
you can also add banked corners to your road by selecting the control points of the NURBS then pressing the bottom left button 'curve' then select 'control points>tilt' I found that very useful for making banked corners.
can you add audio to this tutorial please
Excellent tutorial and it works! My only problem is that the terraain clips through my road from underneath, any tips?
Hello,
For the need of a short film, I need a mountain road with a car that crosses into the night.
The landscape look like your tutorial : How to Download and Import Real World Land in a blender .
Do you have the ability to provide this service to me against a small sum of money. If you are interested , write me soon . This is urgent .

at 0:28 "KeyStroke" do not show that you are pushing "Shift" to mark the 2 Edges…
at 01:40 on blender v2.72 … "Use Nodes" is not default, "ON" :D.. did take me some time to find that out to 😀
So hope this is a smal helper to the others, having same problem as i had 😀
I LOVE your video. Very impressed.
In the array modifier, in fit type, instead of fixed count, you can select "fit length". It will set the array to only as long as your curve.
Why can't I find the Surf/Nurb Curve when I'm doing that modifier for the plane we added at 6:04?
At 1:12 when I bent the edges they weren't even and when I went to unwrap the faces they weren't rectangles and were like almost rounded distorted ones. How do I bend those edges evenly, not like tilted?
thank you;re awesome
Hmm when I switch to the node editor I cannot see any nodes like you have?
EERILY QUIET. No miuc?
