In this part of my Blender Tutorial series I will focus in on lighting by covering all the lighting lamps, light emitting planes, and 3 point lighting. I’ll also cover a bit on the Cycles Renderer materials and much more.

  1. Amazing! I have been learning Blender for about 2 weeks, and you just broke it wide open for me. Thanks 🙂 The "Noob To Pro" PDF is slow plodding, but necessary hot key learning. Repeating repetitive repetition is the key, I guess.

  2. I want to remind you of my suggestion to do a box modeling video in Wings3D. I was ready to give up on 3D graphics 10 years ago because all the tutorials were just how to make a sphere shiny, or just demonstrate one tool, and I got sick of never being able to make anything. But then I found Wings3D that boils everything down to the r-click menu and makes box modeling really fast. Here is an example of a speed box modeling video that inspired me to finally be able to model stuff and not be stuck in tutorials all the time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eAV3M3fQ7I
