This is a Blender 2.8 video in which I demonstrate that yoiu can use the principled shader now for both Eevee and Cycles Renderer.
The model I used is from Sergy Tenditniy, here is the link to his binoculars model on artstation:

so nodes are the same ?
Why you didn’t need to Uv unwrapp your mesh?
So having this said, is Eevee more stable and quicker when it comes to observing in rendering mode? Goes the same with rendering If I said that correct
So is it worth using cycles for animation anymore???
I cant seem to open blender 2.8 on my machine. It just closes instantly. My gpu is gtx 1060. Any help would be appreciated.
wow… probably going to train myself to use principled shader everytime i make a material.. it seemed a whole lot easier…
I'm guessing it's going to take powerful computers to use Eevee?
I noticed this when I experimented with bringing a scene into Blender 2.8 to render it with Eevee. But, Blender 2.8 does not support modifiers on objects nor dupliverts yet. So, I was not able to use it.
Thank you for this demonstration.
Why was I not subscribed to your channel, that's the real question. Thanks again.
Kind regards.
Wow. Didn't think they would implement it this fast. Amazing! Thanks for showing us!
Great tut, thanks a lot!
I can't wait for the stable version of 2.80! Great demonstration of the EEVVEE rendering 👌
