This is a Blender 2.8 video in which I demonstrate that yoiu can use the principled shader now for both Eevee and Cycles Renderer.

  1. I noticed this when I experimented with bringing a scene into Blender 2.8 to render it with Eevee. But, Blender 2.8 does not support modifiers on objects nor dupliverts yet. So, I was not able to use it.
