In this Blender 2.8 and Godot video I show how to export a 3d model from Blender to Godot as Collada (dae). I got a request on how to export the colliders and how to import them again in Godot.
This is shown in this video: You have to follow a naming convention and add -colonly to the name of the model you export. Then in Godot a collision shpe for this object is generated.
For demonstration I use the Godot project Truck Town that you can download here for free:

I appreciate your doing these tutorials. Hope you'll consider more for Godot. I just started using it and really like it. Unity was a little too much for me with all the third party software, etc. Godot seems just right.
I dont know why but i have problem with this drag @0:29 , i discover then i can export with duplicate and just change name with that "-colonly" and everthing works(one object with normal name + second object with colonly)!
But i need spend some extra seconds to change settings in godot to get this in one static body… But works too if somone have the same struggle like me….
Nice job wow I am surprised that. you know Blender 2.8 has collider wow. Nice Idea I will try out
This is so cool! Never knew about this method. Thank you so much, i will definitely be using this! 🙂
Thanks very much for this tutorial!! For those having issues dragging in the scene tree, make sure you're viewing the "Scenes" (view can be changed with drop down next to Editor Type selection). For me (on Linux) the Scene tree defaults to View Layer, and in that view you can't drag and drop to set the parent. At least that's how the beta built on 2019-01-25 is working. Just wanted to point that out if any one else was a little stuck like me. Still, aweseome tutorial!!
Exported 3D Colliders don't collide to each self
