Blender 3D and 123D Catch – Get a realistic scene

Here is a little tour to show the possibilities from Blender 3D and Autodesk 123DCatch. Not direct a tutorial, but i try to show a way to the finishing result 🙂

For this example i had too much sun. For your experiment try a cloudy sky and no flash to get de best result in the rendering result. Sometimes, imported “obj” files has a lot of vertices, sometimes one millionen or more. After deleting your vertices, you can use the “Decimate” Modifier to reduce vertices. In this case i used the factor “Collapse” with a Ration from “0.5”….

  1. It looks absolutly amazing like a cinematic Scene.. The texturing is great! 
    And the idea to do it with 123d catch is really good, im impressed that you can make so highresolution models like this..
