How do they make that cool polygon hair? I have my way of doing it but I feel there’s more than one way to skin a cat. I go over some of my favorite features during this unnarrated timelapse. Enjoy and subscribe.

It says polygon hair but at the start of the vid you are working on the eyes, then you moved on the body. Make up your mind what video content your are doing.

How did you get your hair to line up with the wireframe outline around the head so perfectly?

I use Maya but I found this way of doing polygon hair pretty useful!

The purple lines are most likely crease used to keep those lines crisp when the model is subdivided

you can always use a thin solidify modifier

This is fine, but how do you actually get a double sided plane? If you view it at other angles, some of the hair pieces disappear. Do you have a solution I missed?

Interesting. Of course if you used a path/plane modifier combo that could speed up the process even faster.
