Amazing tutorial, keep up!
Great tutorials. Your voice and pace make it easy to follow along.Keep up the good work. 🙂
Can you please help me? When I press Z every object switches to wireframe mode. I can't see my blueprints
could you give us the direct link to the picture?
You offer generic model examples, would be good for the Game engine. As it doesn't even support particle physics like hair.
VscorpianC. I just want to thank you. There are a few individuals such as yourself that are absolutely amazing individuals. To dedicate and donate the amount of time it takes to do these videos for complete strangers just because is awesome. It is one thing to make the video but, a whole other thing to make one so comprehensive that the audience can follow without issues and have complete clarity about whats going on. Again, thank you and hopefully you keep up your fantastic work. 🙂
is the mouse wheel the only way to rotate the camera view
Thank you. This has been very helpful. It's been difficult finding good tutorial to learn everything from the basics.
Expecting one tutorial on 'how to create paste like substances in blender … eg, tooth paste, tomato paste, cream, clay, sludge etc … :):):)
Hey. Thank you very much. This tutorial has helped me alot + all of your other videos. 🙂
With my project attempt, perhaps the face should be later…I should concentrate on the torso, and the legs. The face is a challenging task..
Very nice tutorials! relaxing voice to listen to,.. You got a new sub,.. Tnx !!
12:30 in you zoom in and start talking about edge and face selectors. I have no idea what you did at this point. pleas explain-found it. its a shame you zoomed in. this is my first day 1 experience of blender. so far it sucks…. in a good way I guess
Are there any ways to free form model a character? I watch a lot of your tutorials. I'm not much of an artist but I have character ideas I'd like to model. +VscorpianC
Thanks for the tutorial 🙂
After I insert the plane and rotate it, the one in the front view does what the side view should do, and vice versa.
how did you make the black side to white?
can you sned me the photo pls?
Fuck, this was exactly what I was looking for… 4 days of seaching on google and youtube… And first NOW I find this video?

Hi,
I have a non profit website that is promoting free computer software education and would like to know if it is alright to have to first Blender character modeling video posted.
http:\http://www.eonentertainmentnpo.org is the website and the 'features' tab on the menu bar is where you'll see 'Links to Free 3D Gaming and App SDK's'. That is where your video will be downloaded.
thanks for nice tutorial! Somehow I can't open the image on the way you show. I am sure i'm following you exact step by step. ( but I was pretty often sure about some things too.:-)) Should it be in some certain format? thx.
Hi I cant seem to find the reference image on the link. If you could help that would be greatly appreciated thank you. 🙂
This video help me when starting blender 6month ago but a getting more advance
tjank u!!!
I didn't know that background image could be adjustible to get cursor on center point on the front and side view without seperating the whole background image into two . This tut. gave me a great idea but does it also work on Car modeling as well please ? Thank you for this top class tutorial .
Sorry its Blender 2.69 Portable
Hello again ..I forgot to mention that I have Blender 2.6 Portable in case that information is needed….thank you
Hello and thank you for this video…There is one problem I have . At the counter time of 12:36 ,,,on the left side model,,you mentioned using the- face selector- to create that screen inside the square plane, for the purpose of mirror extrusion .. BUT ,,you did not say what key to use to create that screen…I tried pressing the F key for face but it did not work.. So where is the Face Selector… And how do I get the XZ axis on the edges(sides) of that plane ,,,because I can only get the axis positioned on the corners..
So for now I cant finish this without this information…Thank you for any help
Thank you for the tutorial 🙂
I finally figured it out thank you so much for your help teacher!!!
how did you select faces at 12:30 ish?
border select isn't working for me, is it supposed to work for the new update?
Does Rx 90 still work for rotating? It's not working for me
Excellent clear instruction, and a sexy voice to boot!

Thanks! 🙂
cool thanks for publishing this tutorial i would like to add you, if you don't mind for some simple question cause im new user in blender
Do you have any videos which describes basics of Blender (for newbies)? Would really appreciate that.
How cool is this? Why is it that strangers on youtube provide higher quality education for free, than what you get in an expensive classroom? Thank you. 🙂
I'm going to need your phone number vscorpianc, I tried this tutorial series two months ago and gave up, I am doing everything exactly like your doing. I finaly tried again and found out why I gave up. On the second video, to wrap the body are you extruding on a single vertice during the first three minutes? I cannot get it!!!!!!!
nevermind I just had to drag my camera towords the bottem left
im having a problem with the grid..when i press control + c, the center point is near the bottem left corner instead of the middle, unless i zoom out..but if i zoom out my images get smaller
