  1. I noticed that in all character modeling tutorials, all of the models used seemed to be stone faced with their arms at their sides. What if my reference images are of models that say are doing the Elvis lip curl, one eyebrow raised andย  one arm up other arm down?

  2. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ i just realized after this tutorial that my character was backwards. she was facing left in left ortho i dont know if that's right now but my images are facing the same way yours are. so is your model facing the correct way?

  3. that helped thats for sure lol. seems blender is all hotkeys once u understand those…well thats half the battle! my hotkeys randomly started working towards the end of your video when you started adding loopcuts dont know why then it was much easier ๐Ÿ™‚ great tut

  4. 25:19 yes i totally agree ๐Ÿ˜› unfortunately im just frustrated and trudging on xD. im using blendercookie, blenderguru, your videos and other random videos to try and learn its pretty slow going though

  5. at 21:08 you said press S and then Y so scale along the Y axis just like we did along the X axis but…for some reason i go to do that and it will not move. i went moved around to see the 3d object better and im still selecting both vertices…so i dont understand what im missing now? sorry to keep bothering you

  6. omg…then blender thing is very difficult to work with i knew it would be hard but…its also just blender in general…im watching your video and following along only difference is im using a different reference picture and yet i cant follow along…ill be here all day and the sole fault is blender and how difficult it is to work with

  7. at 20:16 for some reason it is still selecting both boxes even when i go wireframe. i followed you step by step. the boxes only follow each other for this and when i move them vertically but i can move them separately while horizontal

  8. not just your videos but also blendercookie's and blenderguru i often notice..my hotkeys dont work the same… 5 doesnt work for me but manually going in and clicking view then ortho works but odd my hotkeys dont work

  9. still difficult but i have a nice picture to mess around with and mess up multiple times until i get it right. i just like this method seems like the easiest so far front and side view to get the thickness of the character or object.

  10. ok this is just a comment but it isn't that in one view changes and in the other don't, its just a different perspective, when you change something in the x axis, in the other view can't notice because it isviewing from the side and you cant appreciate the change facing the YZ view, but in both there is the z axis so if you move or change the object in the z axis you can see that the other view reflects the movement, just a comment.

  11. My borders won't select and I can't move the bottom border of my shape upwards like you did ๐Ÿ™ 20:10 My shape and borders are orange. I am in Edit mode with wireframe on. Whenever I hit b to select border, I select it like you did but nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Oh lol I actually read all the prev. comm. and found out how ^^ , but LOL that was a fast replay to my question ๐Ÿ™‚
Keep up the good work , i am currently done with this part of the video and it looks like somthing ๐Ÿ˜€ Lets see what it comes out ^^

  13. OMG HUN!! Thank you so much! <3
Black panther is a different superhero btw (my fav) ๐Ÿ˜‰

  14. Where did you get your reference photo, or where might I be able to get reference photos like it? (not necessarily the comic book style man, but pictures of different things with front, side, and back view) google isnt so good with looking for this type of thing for me for some reason. Thanks in advance

  15. first, really awesome torturial ^^
