Blender is open source software, this tutorial shows how to render with GPU instead of CPU using the cycles render engine. VscorpianC
The Blender 3d open source software is free to download and use, it is a 3D modeling and animation program.

Thank you! kisses you in the forehead
Thank you for the info. Just got a new computer with GPU enabled graphics card.
Wow thanks a bunch. My 1070 just chews threw the rendering. About 3 minutes/frame to 1 minute/frame
Thank you.
Thank you. And by the way that forehead looked big
Very helpful.
Can u PLZZ say NVida in stead of the "right" gpu other than that thx
Hi, I worked out getting the CUDA available in the user preference, but it doesn't seem faster, I don't have the Feature Set/Device in the Render Settings Panel, do you know how I get that? Thanks in advance!
My 2 GTX 690s I got in 2013 run about the same speed as your card from later… I probably didn't config it properly…
thanks again – love your tutorials. Right up to the point!
When I use both my GPUs to render it takes much longer (50s as opposed to 4s) than when using just one. My CPU takes about 7s.
Thanks OP
Its not showing all it says is None and then under None it say CPU i cannot click CUDA IM FCKING ANGRY
CUDA binary kernel for this graphics card compute capability (5.2) not found. ?help
Thank you very much! 😀 It is way faster and i can still use my computer! ^^
Thank you so much
and its much faster
Thank you. ¿Could you recomend a good model of grapich card to put together on SLI or maybe is more interesting to use an expensive one alone? I got a 4770 and no grapich card. Im new on Blender.
Thank you so much
When using this setting my rendertime actually becomes longer, maybe my CPU is more powerfull than my graphics card after all?? Intel core I7 and Geforce M610
My card is with cuda and I set all options like You. But when I'm trying to render even simple cube the rendered picture does not show. Any idea WHY ?! : (
Thank you
thank you so much for this!
i have 2 hd radeon 6800 series (6850,6870) rendered usless wound up getting gtx 670now im thinging about building another pc
perfect timing vscorpianc I am just getting into rendering myself
May I add something? nividia cards have CUDA as setting and ATI/AMD have openGL as setting for switch from CPU to GPU. OpenGL is not working well enough in Blender for daily use without bugs. for now if you want to use Blender you need a nividia card on your computer or laptop. nice short video btw, very useful
