OMFG. After 2+ years of being confused about why my poses weren't being saved or were being ignored, your video explained how you have to SELECT EVERY BONE AFFECTED BY THE POSE in order to save and recall the pose. Thank you so much for clarifying that. WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE SAY THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE? Sheesh.
A compliment and a question.
First the compliment, this is an outstanding video. I’m trying to learn Blender and your tutorials are wonderful.
Thank you
Now the question: I’ve watched this a few times and I’m still unclear about one thing, is it possible to save a pose from, say, just the hand bones and make the saved file available to other Blender projects?
I’m using Manuel Bastioni Lab and would like to have a collection of hand poses available across the board. I understand that they could only be applied to same bones as the saved file.
This tutorial has cleared up a lot of things for me because you take the time to touch on details. Thank you!
Very good tutorial showing some of the quirks that us noobs need to know about, thanks for taking the time to make it.
Character looks like an early draft of ZIggy Stardust.
That's a compliment, by the way. 🙂
Excellent tutorial.
Great Video! Are you from Queens?
THANKS FOR MAKE THIS FOR US.
i like your Voice 😉
Hi VscorpianC… This was another useful tutorial. I'm stuck though…. I used your non-stationary walk cycle to make my character walk up to the camera, but when I try to apply one of the poses I created, it puts him back at the center point of the grid where it was created. How can I make the poses I created work at other xyz locations?
I like how you always do different tutorials than the usual out there but your Make Human Characters always look like they are from Queens 😛
There is always something to learn when it comes to Blender. The mirror pose was a great tip. Also I was not aware of the 'browse pose' feature! Girlfriend gotta a wild Doo! :O)
