This is great but i still can't make it work for me… i followed all the steps as close I could but there was on I couldn't because the option isn't on mine… it was when you changed the mapping of the texture to UV…. but that option isn't there for me…. Maybe because of a new version… anyway now I don't know what to do :((

  2. INCLEDIBLE! 20 PASS for paint with a sample stencil. in ALL other soft u can press button and open stencil, voilà ready!!!
    Blender is fast ONLY for modeling sculpting ando other modules of soft is shit!

  3. Excellent as mentioned in my previous comment but I have a question…. I think that I've followed the steps correctly using 2 textures as stencils. In the 3D window with "Viewport Shading" set to texture, i see them both perfectly but when I render only one appears. What might i be missing? Thanks!

  4. I'm having a problem similar to John, I followed along with you, used a smart UV project and luckily my model was unwrapped nicely. But when I paint on the texture, it looks good in texture paint mode, but when I render it, it doesn't look like that at all, and is stretched over the entire mesh.

    My question basically is: Why when I paint a texture on, does it not render where I painted it?

  5. There were a number of brain farts going on that stopped me from getting what I wanted. When I painted along with you I was painting on 1 single surface but my painting looked like it would be scattered and random across each side of the cube (as I had wanted). What I had missed was marking the seams before Unwrap or performing a Smart UV Project, so I thought there was something wrong with rendering what I had painted. Thanks for your offer to help though.

  6. When I render my image I don't have the painting effect that I worked on. You said that you wouldn't go into the details of rendering in this tutorial about how UV maps are assigned to the object, in which video do you go over that material?

  7. First i want to thank you, most of your tutorials that i watched were extremely helpfull.

    Secound i wanted to ask if there is gonna be more of human / anime models, im still doing a lot of mistakes by forming a female body and Face.

  8. It's always nice to see the tools in action :). Indeed the system is complex and needs quite some reinforcement for memorizing. This is a good indication of the need for redesign. I was thinking something along the lines of "I want to paint on -this- texture using -this- UV layer", instead of the back and forth dance between edit mode, image editor and texture paint mode.
    Thanks for the tutorials too! It's no secret that our official manual sucks :p so they are quite essential!
