I have no idea what is up with the image stuttering, sorry about that, didn’t think that speeding up footage would do that (it didn’t happen the last time I did it).

  1. A STerioLithography (STL) file is a fairly generic model type commonly used for 3d printing. Sample models should be fairly easy to find for experimentation.

    I'm also curious if it is possible to save and export the voxellated model, either as a normal file or as a voxel specific file type.

Just watched the video turns out I don't describe how to control voxel resolution in an animated sense, just click "i" to add a keyframe on the resolution box (it should turn yellow) and change the resolution when needed, many values can be keyframed in blender, it's just not very obvious (this is a UI problem)

  3. I wouldn't know as I don't know what a STL file is, I would be grateful to know what it is though. I believe I mention in the tutorial how to control the resolution (I suppose you could look at the graph editor if you wanted more control), it depends on what you wanna do really.
