  1. Andrew my dude I love you lots but the Flash is definitely the type of character that is supposed to be friendly & approachable. He's not supposed to be intimidating at all (unless you're his enemy). He's the kinda guy who helps old ladies across the street, stops to pet every dog he sees etc… the other critiques were good but maybe in the future have the people who submit character art say like what emotion/type of character they're trying to portray, and then say how close they came to portraying that emotion/character? So you don't have to guess :p

  2. Blender Guru, don't you have a narrow jaw? Also some people have big lips. And there are so many different skill types, and some people have big chins and she doesn't have jowls really.

  3. First of all, I have great respect for you, mr Blender Guru. You are teaching me so many incredible things. But I cannot stop myself from commenting on your critique on the flash character (I haven't bothered reading the other comments, so I hope I'm not throwing gasoline on a fire), but anyway… I feel like all your feedback pulled an original character back into some sort of stereotypical mold. I find it utterly boring that only female have large eyes and adding a hint of androgyny to the character would simply work in its favor. The jawline is clearly something that makes it unique and I wouldn't want it to look more like every other character we usually see. I hope you don't mind that bit of opinion.

  4. I think your points about how to potraiying the character of the Flash is totally unuseful for the creator. It seems it was intentional to potrait him Friendly and a bit childish.

  5. @Blender Guru. Thanks for your tutorials i have learned many things from your channel, you really are awesome. But would you like to make tutorials on character modelling. it would be very helpful for me. Thanks again.

  6. Hello Blender Guru guy what is wrong that anytime I rig a character and apply the IK modifier blender just exit on it's own and this is really making it difficult for me to rig my characters for animation

i want you to critique a render i have made, how do i contact with you? i dont have facebook, maybe you can give me you email or by twitter

  9. What kind of computer do you use? I wanna know about RAM, target video.. etc… I said because sometime my computer freezes.

Wonderful tutorial, my english is not very good but I hope you understand my question

  10. Hi Andrew, following your tutorials and Blender Art Critique Videos with much interest i have one suggestion regarding your cave picture in terms of color temperature. Since the eye recognizes warm colors to be in the foreground the color temperatures in your picture could be flipped. By saying that i mean if you have complementary colors (like in this case blue and red) in a picture the warm color should be in the foreground and the cold color should be in the background or imho it would be at least a good idea to try it out and see what kind of different feeling it produces. Keep up the great work, you're awesome!

  11. I have a question: learning blender is fun for me I have started following your tutorial which are great and I am thankful from you, but why should I learn 3d? I mean is it good for business or can I get a good job when I become an expert? what are other opportunities for being a 3d artist or if I learn blender? I am a painter I do drawings and paintings, but unfortunately I can't find a job in that field, I was wondering if 3d is also the same or not.

  12. I JUST FIGURED OUT WHAT WOULD MAKE YOUR TUTORIALS WAY BETTER!

Go through exactly what we need before we get started (all the images, textures, etc.). Have us download everything, BEFORE the tutorial starts. It's horrible having to stop multiple times during a tutorial to go and scour the web for an image.

    Alright, LOVE YOU, bye.

  13. 26.33 "That's what she said." Note: I am not a troll, I truly enjoy and learn from these videos, but everyone is entitled to childish moments. Great video 🙂
