Blender Cycles: Procedural Wood Floor Texture

Here I show how to generate a procedural texture for a wooden floor in blenders cycle render engine.
This means:
– No texture maps are used
– The output is an endless texture
– The colors are customizeable inside blender

Use Subtitles for explanations.

  1. wow – WHERE IS THE REALLY LIKE BUTTON when you need it! This was a great tutorial, when I saw the wood floor result I was… floored – forgive the pun! That's it now, I think anything is possible with procedural textures!

  2. I feel like I am in love with you. Seriously, that helped so much. I don't know how long I fought with my floors beforehand. Without the brick texture and with a few other differences, I could also use it for tables to a degree.
    Thank you. Thanks a lot.

  3. Wow man. Great work. Dont suppose you could share a screen shot of the final node set-up. I am really battling with getting something lie this together. Looks so much better than any image texture.
