are these methods apply when i have high resolution character like “zbrush” “blender sculpt” also thank you for posting this tutorial i was looking for other ways instead doing it by hand

Honestly this isn't so easy to read, analyze an information and watch SPEED BOOSTED video dude.
Only other way I knew was quite tedious and manual- using shrinkwrap to bind a plane 1mm or 2mm above surface of target mesh and hiding the plane, placing new vertices that snap to the surface of mesh. Then using the polybuild tool (in 2.8). I think there is also an add on called F2 that can help but I've not used it.

The sharp remesh just caused a bunch of weird distortion for me.
ctrl "t" in edit mode triangulates the 6 sides in a cube. but all the uv unwrapping etc. seems a bit tedious for what should be a simple one button go process to ascii export. : -msi

Non manifolds are the bane of my existence, so this was extremely helpful. Thank you. I like tutorials that are brisk and don't take forever talking but this was a tiny bit too fast. I had to rewatch a few times. Still very helpful.
