  1. Awesome animation, such a shame that the reflection of the sun is way too big. Reflections on a sphere should make the sun appear much smaller than it normally appears. Additionally, the sunrise section also shows the reflection of another virtual light source from the top.

NASA made the same mistake on the moon-landing astronauts' visors by using a large-array light source to mimic the sun, giving a huge reflection far bigger than what it should have looked like.

Excellent project though. Thank you for posting.

  2. damn… you forgot to make the earth spin on the correct axis. which is what i'm trying to figure out by tomorrow… rotating on the z axis and enough on the … i might just have figured it out.. rotate my camera by those 22.5 degrees 🙂

  3. Hi Daniel, NICE. May we use this behind our credits at the end of an EARTH JUSTICE non-profit film on Climate Crisis Emerency> It's perfect! I like the music, too. WONDERFUL. RSVP  the Film is explained at http://www.AuthorandActivist.com, with clips. I's a docu-drama of my life from activism in Selma in Civil Rights in 96 when I was among the first journalists to integrate Deep South TV and was menaced by the KKK to my work in the Climate Justice movement and the People's March in Sept 2014. This would be perfect to make people keep thinking while credits scroll. the music, too is perfect. THANKS if you'll consent. Daniela in the Lion's Den with an A on the end.

  4. You have so many requests from people wanting to use this extraordinary video. It's really impressive. On youtube I go by the artist name Naked Planet so this would be ideal for my music vids. Is that OK?
